Jakobsbad-Kronberg Aerial Cableway

The Kronberg is the Appenzellerland’s family leisure mountain, offering an attractive visitor programme all year round.

The valley station of the Kronberg Aerial Cableway is located between Urnäsch and Appenzell. It runs daily every thirty minutes (on the hour and on the half hour). Discounted prices are available for groups of 10 or more people, as well as with the Half-Fare travelcard or GA travelcard. Whilst the Kronberg is the ideal starting point for hiking tours, visitors can also enjoy themselves on the bob run and in the rope park at the valley station. Located directly adjacent to the railway station in Jakobsbad, the valley station can easily be reached by public transport. Timetable
