An array of specialist shops, traditional craft workshops, family hotels and Appenzell cafes with local specialities offer an invitation to take things easy. Public guided tours in German through the village from June to mid-October 2010 every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am. Tours start from the Appenzell Tourist Information Office.
