Brülisau-Hoher Kasten Aerial Cableway

The Appenzellerland at your feet and Lake Constance within reach – with its revolving restaurant, Hoher Kasten is a panoramic mountain par excellence.

The cableway ride from Brülisau up to the Hoher Kasten mountain viewpoint takes eight minutes. With a GA or Half-Fare travelcard, Swiss Pass or Flexi Pass, visitors can ride at half the price. At 1,795 m above sea level, you can enjoy breathtaking views in the revolving restaurant or on the sun terrace. The Hoher Kasten is easy to reach by Postbus; the bus stop is adjacent to the valley station in Brülisau. Timetable
