This impressive circular route takes you through the lovely hills and vineyards of north-eastern Appenzellerland. From the starting point, you hike through gentle vineyard terraces, past old vineyards and, gradually ascending, into a vast forest area. Along the way, you will enjoy magnificent views over the vineyards, past historic walls and up to the proud castle that towers high above the landscape. The path alternates between sunny slopes with vines and shady forest passages and thrives on the harmonious combination of cultural landscape and nature.
