Llama trekking in the Appenzellerland.

Alpacas, llamas, rabbits, chickens, turkeys and cats as well as the dog Colline live on the animal adventure farm in Urnäsch.
As a trained farmer with a specialist certificate and a wilderness and animal-assisted educator (WIP & Tier), Monika Egli offers a variety of activities on her farm. Trekking tours with the alpacas and llamas are particularly popular. Trekking is suitable for couples who want to enjoy a private, leisurely walk with the cuddly animals, for team outings to get to know each other from a different side as a team or the family celebration that wants to be experienced in a somewhat unusual setting, as well as for a cosy day out among friends. Before the group sets off, the guests learn about the animals, the trekking and the farm and are treated to a small aperitif. The introduction is followed by the walk across meadows and through forests (approx. half the time of the booked trekking). At the end, the animals can be fed as a thank you for the walk. Each trek can end at the idyllically located fireplace at the Indian tipi in the forest. A barbecue or fondue can also be booked.

Conditions
As llamas and alpacas are afraid of strange dogs, they may not be taken along for trekking.
The responsibility for the children lies with the parents and the insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
Clothing appropriate to the weather and trekking or hiking shoes.
