The FloatingOase in Bühler features two individual basins (width 170 cm, length 230 cm, depth 47 cm, salt-water level approx. 30 cm) which can be used by one or two people. Pre-booking required. Each unit has a small changing room, toilet, shower and of course a large basin for floating in. The basin is emptied out after each use, the salt solution is channelled through several stages of a treatment system, and the whole bathing area is cleaned.
Due to the high concentration of salt in the water, the body floats on the surface like in the Dead Sea. Muscles, blood vessels, organs and bones become weightless and remain in a tension-free state, without contortions or pressure points. The nerves on the skin surface do not feel any difference in temperature due to the constant water and ambient temperatures of around 35 ⁰C (thermo-neutral bath). Thanks to the neutralised gravity, the pressure-free position of the body, the absence of visual stimuli, and the tranquillity in the bath, body and mind can fully relax.
