Emma Kunz Path

The EMMA KUNZ PATH was created in Waldstatt to commemorate this versatile woman.

Her work is presented at five stations along the hiking trail from the village well to the idyllically situated pond in Bad Säntisblick. Each station contains a theme. Visitors are invited to let the pictures have an effect on them and discover amazing things.

For the theme of healing, Emma Kunz's work no. 393 served as a model for the transformation into a walk-in three-dimensional wooden pavilion, designed and developed by Hermann Blumer, the Waldstätt wood construction pioneer.
