THEMED WALKS IN THE SCHWÄGALP NATURE ADVENTURE PARK
The Schwägalp/Säntis Nature Adventure Park with its themed hiking trails brings you even closer to the natural beauty of this unique landscape. Walk through the history of mysterious moors. Take a deep breath in enchanted forests and observe rare animals and plants in one of Europe’s most beautiful natural landscapes. With every step you take you will learn more about life and culture in the Alps. The history of the Earth, the over thousand-year-old tradition of using the Schwägalp for pasture, as well as tourism, nature conservation and much more – richly illustrated panels explain all of this to explorers big and small.
Special panels illustrate the history of the landscape along the four themed trails in the Schwägalp/Säntis Nature Adventure Park. These panels are placed at particular points of interest, where the changes over time are visualised in detail to help you relate to this unique landscape.
