Pizza Party Bread

A recipe by Betty Bossi

Filled, rolled mini bread to go with a Christmas aperitif or for a New Year’s Eve party, made from pizza dough, chorizo jam and Appenzeller cheese.

Preparation and cooking time: around 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS FOR 8 SERVINGS

1 rolled-out pizza dough (approx. 25 x 38 cm)
1 jar chorizo jam (approx. 190 g, fine food)
80 g Appenzeller cheese, finely grated
50 g pitted green olives

METHOD

Preheat oven to 220 °C. Roll out the dough. Finely chop the olives and grate the cheese. Spread chorizo jam on the rolled-out dough, scatter olives and cheese over it. Cut dough into 5-cm squares, fold them over as you wish and set them into the prepared oven dish.

Bake for approx. 20 minutes in the lower half of the oven. Take out, let cool briefly on a rack and serve warm.

Fits one baking sheet of around 28 cm in diameter, lined with parchment.

  • Tips: Best eaten warm from the oven! You can also use basil pesto instead of chorizo jam.
