An experience for adults and children: Explore the Lake of Constance region around the Appenzell Frontal Land with funiculars, ships and the Postauto as an Appenzell Joke Experience.
A journey from the Lake of Constance to the Appenzellerland gives you the opportunity to enjoy a special tour. You will take off from Rorschach, where you will take the funicular to travel up high to Heiden. Next, you will walk on the famous Witzweg (Joke Trail). If you prefer a more comfortable approach, you can also take the Postauto and enjoy lots of views while you are riding along. Next, the nostalgic funicular will take you to Rheineck. The final stage of the trip will be a boat ride through the natural preserve Alter Rhein (Old Rhine) until you get back to your point of departure in Rorschach. As of 2024, the adventure will be presented in a new “outfit.” Experience the humor of Appenzell with all senses. You will definitely be surprised.
