On the old village square in Rehetobel – with fantastic views over the Appenzellerland and the Säntis mountain range – Dorf 5 has been open to guests since March 2019.

In the building which housed a post office from 1900 until the 1980s there is now a charming inn called 'Dorf 5' (Village 5). In addition to serving customers with food and beverages in the restaurant or in the sunny garden, the inn offers visitors accommodation and even seminar facilities for small groups.
Your Dorf 5 host Albert Küng and his team look forward to serving you. The cuisine is fresh and the menu seasonal. Kalbsleberli (calf’s liver) and rösti are very popular. Groups of more than 15 people are also welcome outside normal opening hours with an advanced booking.
