Restaurant with a view for hikers, partygoers and connoisseurs

The Gasthaus Fuchsacker is a great place to be, whether it’s for a break on a hike, for cosy and enjoyable hours as a couple or in a larger group, or for an overnight stay in the inn to enjoy the peace and quiet in the midst of nature.
The inn is located on the edge of the Appenzellerland in Schwellbrunn, close to the border with Degersheim in St. Gallen. The view over the hilly landscape is magnificent, with the Alpstein massif and the Säntis to the south.
Hiking trails and cycle routes lead from all directions, culminating at 969 metres above sea level. There is a children’s playground next to the inn. For winter sports, there are cross-country ski trails and a ski lift nearby.
